From the back cover: Three outstanding musicians – young, good looking, and exceptionally talented; multi-insturmental, three-part vocals, and a natural for spontaneous comedy – a combination that has kept this group constantly booked into many of the better nightclubs and hotels throughout the United States. Numbered among the many star attractions they have worked with are such names as Jimmy Durante, Kim Weston, Dobie Gray, Roger Collins, The Drifters, Olympics, Sheralls, and Lowell Fulsom.

From the back cover: The personnel who make up this fine album: guitar, Cliff Beros, who sings up a storm on "Long Tall Texan"; Larry Curtis, piano and organ, like swing - like Larry Curtis!; Doug Norman, drums, who is the driving force behind the group; Reg Dlouhy, tenor sax and vocals – just too much. Gene moves from bass guitar to trumpet and vocal – wild! All the way a most exciting, entertaining album.

"punky" ala clarinet
Town House Productions - Minneapolis, Minnesota

From the back cover: Tripping these days generally refers to getting "high" on drugs. But Punky Caldwell, that clarinetist who dwarfs his instrument, herewith gives you a different kind of trip. You might call it "10 straight shots of nostalgia, without a tracer." And who needs one?

Punky is eminently qualified, having done gigs with the likes of Billy Eckstine, Elvis Presley and several other big bands.

And he conjured up some side men to aid and abet in the offering, like Dave Perterson, a solid Hammond man, who has become close to Punky through nearly seven years of work together.

Then there's Drummer Bill Watkins, who shared a Japanese tour with Punky at one time, and collectively has worked with him about 15 years.

The final member was Jack Haggerty on Bass, a graduate of such bands as Red Nicholas and Art Pepper.

From the back cover: Barbara and Wendell McKenzie are of the Talent group "The Husbands & Wife's" and at the release of this album are on a long term contract at Lee and Andy's Frontier Bar in Ketchikan, Alaska where they are doing an excellent job.

Barbara and Wendell are two fine and hard working people that like to entertain people and have put some of their most requested song on this Album and we are sure that if you will listen to them, then you will agree that this is a fine job, both as to the music and the vocals.

Barbara and Wendell teamed up with Gene and Pam Brown along with Danny Meyers on drums to form the group called the Husband's & Wife's. This is one of the finest Music and Vocal groups in The North West and I am sure that you will be hearing many good things from this group in the Future, and it has been my pleasure to work with them on this album. – Don Sneed, Sr.

From the back cover: I'm very please to be able to announce this new album. John Bachmanns's first! It is dedicated to his many friends and fans who have been loyal listeners and followers. John started playing piano when he was eleven, styling his music after his good friend Jerry Lee Lewis. As you will soon hear, after you listen to this album, John has developed his own style of Country-Rock with just a hint of Jerry lingering on. After several ups and downs and a single released three years ago, which did not receive promotion it well deserved, John met with his new managers Norm and Roberta Troupe. Who, since have become ardent fans and are the President and Vice-President of Southern Ohio Truck Lines, Inc. With the devotion of band members, John and managers, a lot of love and hard work, we are delighted to give you this new album… – Carol Cummins.

The Seniors By Request
Rite Record Productions, Inc. - Cincinnati, Ohio
Sides #27113 & 27114

From the back cover: The Seniors - a name that has become more and more popular around Cincinnati and the try-state area, have attempted to bring to the public, in this album, those tunes which are the most requested by their followers.

The outstanding characteristic of The Seniors is versatility. From the stage come vocals, comedy, and instrumentals, which are most exceptional. Whether the audience is listening to the mellow voice of Harry Clifton, the colorful (off color) stories of Mike Bridges, the piano styling of Jack Bridges, or, as this album demonstrates, the exceptional blend of three voices, the result is always the same - ENTERTAINMENT.

1974

From the back cover: In bars, lounges, inns, and halls all over the world the week-end, and perhaps a week night or two, brings the sound of competent, professional dance groups. A handful of musicians enters the house, sometime together but usually separately, sets up and blows a four or five hour gig. Perhaps, in the course of the night, there will be an occasion for the customers to notice the group; a production number, a medley, a vocal solo. But most of the tunes will pass by with only a vague awareness, and even the dancers will be more in to each other than they are to the music.

From the back cover: My name is Fran Wald. I've been around the music business for quite a few years. I'm the old man of the group. I sing and play drums and try to be the counterbalance. Jill Christi is the singer. I believe in Jill Christi. She has a talent and desire to become a really big star. Listen to her bluesy, gutsy approach to "Evil Ways," her boisterous "Me and Bobby McGee" and the softness and lonliness of  "A House Is Not A Home." Like I said, I believe in Jill Christi. After listening I think you will too. There is too little space to say all the good things about Bill Albright and his keyboard talent. He is a home at the piano as well as the organ which is more of less "his" instrument now. Bill attacks each song with a verve of which is not heard too often. His involvement in a song is so complete he actually detaches himself from the world. You'll hear him fill up the room as well as the arrangements. His talent doesn't stop there. As a composer he offers "Maybe I'm Changing" as a start. I think in time to come there will be many more songs by Bill Albright. Thank you for listening.
